Nooks Win Slugfest at Lee Jordan to Beat the Pilots

The Nooks were looking to bounceback against the Pilots after a loss in Palmer the day before. Kaleb Gauna took the hill looking to lead the Nooks to victory. The Pilots would jump out to a 2-0 lead in the 1st, but the Nooks would bounce back in the 2nd. Jake Mitchell started with a 2 RBI double, and then Ayden Tauscher woul pick up another 2RBIs on a single up the middle. Charlie Deaton picked up a 2 RBI double of his own in the 3rd to extdns the Nooks lead. However, the Glacier Pilots would fight back, tying it up over the 5th and the 6th. Brady Groves would do a job with runners in scoring position to take back the lead, 7-6. Trent Cornell would add some insurance with an RBI triple to right center, and Tauscher would pick up another RBI to make it 9-6 Nooks. Evan Rossi would come in for the two out save and deliver, sealing the victory. Nooks head into the off day happy and look foward to Miners on Saturday.
