Chinooks outlast the Miners for the first W of the season

The Nooks took on the Miners last night in a thriller that resulted in the Nooks first win of ABL action. The Chinooks came out swinging, exploding for 7 runs in the second. Nick Hockemeyer got the scoring started with a two RBI sinle. Two more runs came in on an Ayden Tauscher single and a Carson Clark double. After a couple passed balls and a Patrick McGlon RBI knock the Nooks led by 7. They picked up one more in the third on an Isaiah Parido sac fly. The Miners would not go down quietly though scoring 9 runs over the 3rd, 4th, and 5th, to take the lead. the Nooks tied it up in the 6th courtesy of a Carson Clark sac fly. The bullpen held it down for the Chinooks with 4.1 scorless from Luke McCoy and Evan Rossi. Some clutch hitting in the 9th with a Tate Greene RBI double and a Patrick McGlon 2RBI single sealed the deal. The Nooks look to carry the momentum into their game tonight at home agaisnt the Pilots.
